We are committed to developing and nurturing a thriving, sustainable work environment and governance framework. Our environmental, social and governance (ESG) approach is based on three pillars: alignment, access and authenticity. This framework galvanizes our efforts in each ESG domain and across the company. Environmental Sustainability
We are working to monitor the environmental impact of our portfolio and our corporate operations. Our approach is to identify and pursue environmental initiatives that are in alignment with our tenants’ goals. Plus, we are broadening our acquisition analysis to include greater detail around environmental concerns to further mitigate risks and ensure resilience.
Social Responsibility
We are committed to giving back to the communities where we operate and live. Our corporate team supports a number of local nonprofit organizations with our time and treasure. We are also using our resources to address the important social problem of healthcare access through our partnership with United Way and Lyft. We continued to focus on diversity and inclusion throughout the organization and at all levels. We are particularly proud of being recognized as a Women On Boards “W” Winning Company for our commitment to board diversity.
Corporate Governance
Our strong, independent board provides invaluable guidance. Our shareholders benefit from this experienced group of healthcare and real estate professionals who work diligently on their behalf. Our board also has an ESG Committee, that strives to authentically integrate ESG initiatives into our operations and processes, making short-term decisions that support our long-term results.
